Self-Tape Instructions

ACTOR AUDITIONEES: Please submit a self-tape that clearly showcases your performance quality, energy, and connection. If you have been asked to read a side, please download the appropriate material from the Audition Page for the specific role you are submitting for.

 

VIDEO SETUP

• Record in landscape (horizontal) orientation

• Use a neutral background with good lighting

• Frame yourself from mid-torso to just above the head

• Ensure clear audio with minimal background noise

• No filters, effects, or edits

 

PERFORMANCE

• Slate your name, height, and location at the top of the video

• Perform the requested character prompt(s) in character

• Focus on clarity, physicality, and expressive storytelling

• Play directly to the camera as if it were a live audience

• Keep energy appropriate for a family / theme park audience

 

LENGTH

• Total video length should be 1–2 minutes unless content requires less or more.

 

COSTUME/PROPS

• Simple rehearsal attire is preferred

• Avoid full costumes or heavy makeup

• Small hand props may be used only if helpful for the performance

 

LANGUAGE NOTES

• Comfort with light Spanish phrases and pronunciation is a plus; fluency is not required
